Wait! What is this "Christian" version of D&D called "Dragon Raid" that they mentioned? How come I never heard of it? It sounds like it might be a hoot. Or really, really bad. Probably both.

To call DragonRaid "a 'Christian' version of D&D" is something of a stretch, although "Scripture is used as magic" is fairly accurate. DragonRaid is really designed as a teaching tool for children to memorize passages from the Bible - it's not really a game in the way that D&D is.
ReplyDeleteFamily being exposed to such narrow minded and clueless dribble is why odds are, I would never have been allowed to play D&D as a kid.
