One of those ridiculous moments, I think.
ReplyDeleteWe were playing RM - that's only relevant because it has an Appearance stat. We had a dwarf warrior with a really low value, I think it was 12, where 10 would have sent people away screaming. And an elf mage with something in the 90s, I guess. Naturally the players decided to act out the stereotypical elf/dwarf conflict whenever they could.
At some point, the dwarf got bitten by a were bat. He'd turn into a bat afterwards whenever someone got a crit against him.
So one day they were taking their mock argument to drawing weapons - well the dwarf did. The elf just cast fireball.
That was a crit. Poor dwarf turned into a bat, which got burned quite crispy by the fire damage.
The healer saved him, just about. But the burns disfigured him horribly.
Technically that dropped his Appearance below zero...
