When in trouble, when in doubt.

When in trouble, when in doubt.
Rocks fall, everyone dies.

Human history is full of end of the world events. Strangely not that many folks seem to care.

Every few thousand years the Earth is dealt a blow that can cause the end of life in a large region and influence life all over the globe. Be it a giant fireball that cooks everyone in sight. A giant ice ball that rain boulders down for thousands of klicks in every direction. Or simply the humble 400 foot tall wave of water that washes all evidence of civilization to the bottom of a cold uncaring ocean.

All of this can cause huge portions of civilization to be buried in a dungeon like fashion. It can be the cause of the strife in any given area or why everyone on the other side of a mountain is dead.

So, next you find your happy party of PCs damn near unkillable. Remember that sometimes as Gary so well put it. Rocks fall, everyone dies.
